BEIJING-- The high-performance, inexpensive expert system model launched just recently by Chinese start-up DeepSeek has created a wave of all over the world. DeepSeek-R1 appears to provide performance that rivals options from the U.S., however the company states it was developed at less than a tenth of the expense of those models.
